Refund Policy
Effective date: March 30, 2026
All purchases at ithil.software are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payments, billing, and refunds on our behalf. By purchasing a license, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which govern refunds and cancellations.
1. Statutory Right to Withdraw (14 Days)
As a consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase and receive a full refund within 14 days of the transaction date. This applies to your initial purchase and to the first payment of a subscription.
Important exception: Because Ithil is a digital software product, if you have downloaded, installed, or otherwise begun using your license key before the 14-day period expires, and you gave express consent to waive your withdrawal rights during checkout, your right to withdraw no longer applies.
2. Discretionary Refunds (Up to 30 Days)
Outside the statutory window, Paddle may — at its sole discretion — issue a refund if a request is submitted within 30 days of your order date. Submitting a request within this period does not guarantee a refund. Requests will not be granted where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.
3. Subscriptions and Cancellation
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to Ithil until that date.
- There are no refunds for unused portions of a subscription period once the statutory 14-day window has passed.
- To avoid being charged for a renewal, cancel at least 48 hours before your next billing date.
4. Free Non-Commercial Licenses
Free non-commercial license keys are issued at no charge. There is nothing to refund for free licenses.
5. How to Request a Refund
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, all refund requests must be submitted directly to Paddle:
- Visit paddle.net and follow the support instructions.
- Use the link in your Paddle payment confirmation email or receipt.

6. Chargebacks
Please contact Paddle before raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer. Filing an unwarranted chargeback may result in being prohibited from future purchases processed through Paddle.
